Milkweed and Monarch
woven of ash wood and sweetgrass ; designed to bring attention to the endangered milkweed habitat (due to invasive plants) necessary for monarch butterfly. Design evokes the movement of butterflies and the striping represents the caterpillar stage. Inspired by another artist work for Common Ground Fair poster, Rebekah Lowell.
