Democracy is Fragile
Materials: hand harvested, hand split ash wood and braided sweet grass, commercial dye. 11.5" x 7.5" x 4" basket woven on my great-grandmother's wooden form handed down to me from the late 1800's. Distressed flag pattern is woven onto the cover to illustrate the current, fragile state of the US Democracy.
